Dear Sir/Madam,

The purpose of his letter is to discuss the intended course of action connected with the Student Board’s idea about opening a small English bookstore at our College. We are sure that our plans are quite well organized and will meet your acceptance immediately.

Since the Student Board’s attempt failed because of both a bad location and poor quality of our idea is planned more specifically and with greater attention. We intend to make the bookstore more attracting and filled with not expensive, but extremely valuable for students, books and magazine.

If our request is grant, we do not propose to alter the interior of the previous place in any way other than to repair and modify some of the furniture. The exterior, on the other hand, would benefit from small alteration connected with painting and advertising.

Should we open the bookstore, the place would be also used by students in a number of actions, conferences and meeting of any kind. As well as usual study books, many other works of world’s literature would be available for those who would express a keen interest in our venture.

We are wondering whether there is any preferential treatment we could count on. Student Board would be satisfied with even a small amount to cover some of the costs connected with renovation and advertising.

I hope that the plan outlined in this letter will receive your serious consideration.

Not only would the empty building used but also the horizons of our students would be widened.

                                                                                                                Your faithfully,
